    Otrivin Menthol MD Spray delivers an exact dose of medicated spray inside the nose to quickly relieve the nasal congestion associated with sinusitis. It provides up to 10 hours of relief in as little as 2 minutes. It contains the active ingredient xylometazoline hydrochloride that helps to relieve congestion through direct action on the blood vessels to produce capillary constriction.

    How to use

    For adults and children over 12 years, spray once into each nostril between 1 and 3 times daily.

    1. Clear your nose.
    2. Hold the bottle upright. When using for the first time, prime with a few pumping
    motions until an even spray is achieved.
    3. Lean your head forward slightly and insert the nozzle into a nostril.
    4. Spray while breathing in gently, then repeat the process for the other nostril.

    We suggest not blowing your nose for the first few minutes after use to allow the medicine to start working.

    DO NOT USE CONTINUOUSLY FOR MORE THAN 7 CONSECUTIVE DAYS.
     If symptoms persist consult your doctor or pharmacist. To avoid possible spread of infection, only one person should use each pack.

    Precautions

    DO NOT USE THE SPRAY:

    · if you are allergic to xylometazoline hydrochloride or any of the other ingredients in the spray,
    · on children under 12 years of age,
    · if you are allergic to other decongestants.

    Further information

    Otrivin Menthol MD Spray is available in 10 ml packs. Keep out of reach of children. Do not use after the expiry date stated on the bottle. Do not store above 25°C. We do not recommend using each bottle past 28 days of opening.

    Ingredients

    The active ingredient in Otrivin Menthol MD Spray is xylometazoline hydrochloride (0.1% w/v). The other ingredients are sorbitol, purified water, menthol and eucalyptol.
